Woohoo! We finally got our Christmas decorations up! Unfortunately we don’t go overboard with Christmas decs…I don’t think Rhys could cope with it! I love going for different colours for the tree each year, love a bit of variety! This year we went for blue and silver; I think it gives a nice icy, wintry feeling! We also decided to stick with our little artificial tree. I’ve never had a real one before! I would love to try one, but we live in a little flat and we’d probably leave a massive trail of pine needles all up the stairs and corridor that we’d have to try and clean up! So a fake one does us just fine! Also I apologise for the quality of some of the photos, it had been snowing and was bright outside so they didn’t come out great!
It’s pretty safe to say I’m a bit of a candle addict, especially when the nights are starting to get darker and the cold is slowly creeping in. Or sweeping in faster than we can believe, considering the plunge in temperature this past month. There’s nothing better than coming home on a cold, dark night and setting up an array of aromatic candles to get you through the long evenings. Plus, at this time of year, all of the Christmassy scented candles start popping up on the shelves of all the homeware stores. Just to ease you into the Christmas spirit!
